Came across your site while browsing reddit (house lizard > bhitti > your blog > the other blog). The last four characters mention Chandra Sumsher (Shri 3 Chandra Sumsher), one of the Rana dynasty's prime minister and de-facto ruler of kingdom of Nepal from 1901 to 1929. Looks like the first part of the inscription mentions something like in the feet of the devi (goddess kali). By the way we call house lizard as mausuli(maau-soo-li)

ReplyDeleteThe first two characters definitely mean devi(goddess). Fifth and sixth are numbers, 1 and 9.
